The tools are nearly useless..

My Problem

My ipod lasted about half an hour before the battery died.

My Fix

Once I realised the tools that came with the kit were nearly useless. The small blade of my Swiss army knife was much more useful, without scratching the ipod.

My Advice

small blades work better than the tools.
