My Problem
Had vertical lines running down screen, you couldn't make out what was on display, couldn't answer and make calls, but would still work through car blue tooth.
My Fix
Replaced front display with camera, it's not that easy but definitely achievable, the 3 ribbon cables up the top of phone were tricky, the last one didn't quite line up. With some patience got the connections and closed it up, now the phone works spot on.
My Advice
Have a go, even if you practise pulling apart an old phone just to get an idea, I'm no tech wiz all you need is patience and time to watch the related videos( which make it look way easier).
