As it Must to All Components, Death Came to My Hard Drive.

My Problem

The hard drive on my macbook pro was on life support, so I put it out of my misery. I was persuaded by the Genius tending the Genius Bar that I was capable of performing the replacement surgery myself.

My Fix

The transplant operation went very smoothly. How novel to have the diagrams in the replacement guide look exactly like what I was seeing inside my computer.

My Advice

Go for it. It will save you plenty over having it done for you.
