My Problem
A friend of mine dropped his iPhone. He doesn't have any patience (very little) and just bought another one. I told him I could fix it and he gave it to me.
My Fix

Everything worked out fine. I took it apart a few extra times due to my not ensuring that things weren't under other parts. Once everything was clear, the reassembly went smoothly.
Once the power button was pushed, everything came alive.
IT'S ALIVE!!!
My Advice
Opt for the complete kit. The tools are just what you need to complete this repair.
Take it slow and keep track of your tiny pieces.
