Fan Replacement

My Problem

Super noisy fan diagnosed at the apple store, but the computer was too old for them to repair. Decided to repair it myself.

My Fix

The only issue was one stubborn screw on the fan that was locked up and wouldn't release. Once that problem was solved, it was smooth sailing from there...and the noise was gone!

My Advice

A little timid about doing the repair yourself? Give it a go and use the dudes on the ifixit website..they're great!
