My Problem
The problem was the phone would not hold a charge for more than a day and when I used the phone for facetime or music the battery drained fast.
My Fix
The repair was easy except for the parts are really small, hard to see and handle. But that was not a big deal you just need to be careful and go slow.Put a towel under the repair area to trap parts should they fall off the tool. Replacing the battery took about 10 or 15min. Youtube has several videos on how to do this.
I really liked that the kit included replacement phillips head screws, I didnt like the Micro torx screws the phone came with.
The tools included in the kit are great.They are magnetic to keep the screws on the screw drivers
My Advice
When installing the new battery I moved the cable on the connector so it was shaped like the old cable strip. this made it easy to line up the screw hole on the connector.
