Quickly exceeding the storage space on the old drive.
My Fix
Overall, the repair went well and is up and running. Had some problems a screw back in the hole for the antenna plate (step 8 of "Mac Mini Mid 2010 Hard Drive Replacement" guide) possibly because of Step 15 not aligning the chassis properly.
My Advice
If installing the SSD, be aware there is no thermal sensor (since there is little heat from the SSD) on the new SSD drive. You can install it, but you'll have to look for software to adjust the fanspeed or it runs like a jet engine all the time! Plenty of freeware out there that will do this if you search.
