My Problem
The display of my iPhone 5 shattered when it landed on the sidewalk after flipping out of my coat pocket!
My Fix
The repair went very smoothly...instructions were spot-on every step of the way. The most difficult part for me was separating the front panel from the body of the phone, and then re-connecting the cables was a bit tedious getting them to line up with the ports...but the parts fit and work perfectly!
My Advice
Things to keep in mind - use a heat gun or heating bag (like the one in the video) to loosen the home button cable from the body when removing it from the old display or you could rip it, and be careful when removing the home button from the old front as well (don't rip the surrounding adhesive, you want to remove it with the button).
