My Problem
My son dropped his iphone and it landed on its corner and cracked the front display from corner to corner top to bottom.
My Fix
Parts I ordered from ifix were processed and shipped promptly. Quality parts that I can always depend on. I'm very good at do-it-yourself projects and I have repaired many things I do all the maintenance on all of our computers here at my home I have been doing it for over 20 years. This repair was quite the challenge. The screws were so small that I actually had to view them with a magnifying source. Your walk through on the repair was very thorough with the photos was a great help. My Advice
If I had this to do all over again I would buy the full assembly. I made the mistake of buying just the display assembly and I had to transfer small parts from the old Display assembly to the new. Because of that it took me an additional hour and a half just to get everything to transfer and screwed together properly. It's really not worth saving the $10 difference between just a display and the full assembly that has a New camera Home button and the display backplate all included. If I had gotten that it would've just been a matter of pulling the Display off popping the display cables off popping in the new part and snapping it in place. Do yourself a favor by the full assembly it'll be so much easier and you'll be so much happier with your result.
