500 GB replacement HDD isn't recognized

My Problem

Original 250 GB HDD wasn't working anymore, so I would replace it with an 500 GB WD Black, but that disk wasn't recognized by the Macbook. Connecting the old an the new HDD via USB was working fine.

My Fix

Changed the SATA cable with the new one from iFIxit, surprise, everything worked!
