My Problem
The iPod would not power up even when plugged into a USB charger. The battery was lasting for only a short time before finally after sitting unused for a while it would not power up. I like to repair rather than throw out so I bought a new battery.
My Fix
The repair went exactly as the guide said it would. It was a challenge, as indicated, to get it a part but the rest was easy. It powered up with a full battery as soon as I put it together.
My Advice
The guide said it was hard to get it apart but hang in there. That kept me trying. It helped that I have strong finger nails. Read carefully and do what the guide says.
