My Problem
had a shattered glass panel, tried to fix it with some cheap replacement piece of **** i bought from ebay resulting in corrupting the entire display. ordered the display assembly got it 2 (!) days later and replaced it - problem solved.

My Advice
dont buy from shady ebay shops, buy in haste repent a leisure
