My Problem
The original screen was badly shattered with hardly any of the screen intact.
My Fix
The repair went well with the replacement part fitting and working like new.
My Advice
The only advice I can give people with a badly shattered screen is.
The suction cup would not get good contact with the screen due to the fine cracks on the screen. You could not get suction. To resolve this I placed duct tape on the screen and then placed the suction cup on this. It proved to be an effective way to lift the screen and with a bit of work and a few try's the screen came up.
