Brought my Mac laptop back to life

My Problem

I knew my battery needed to be replaced after I recognized it was not holding its charge as well as it did out of the box. It became drastic when the battery exploded and began pushing up my track pad. I asked the local computer shop to fix it and they were going to charge over $250!! So I turned to Ifixit for help.

My Fix

The repair went phenomenally!! I received my battery and tri-wing screwdriver in the mail and that day replaced my battery. It took me all of 10 minutes to remove the bottom cover of my laptop, take out the old battery, put in the new one, and put the cover back on. The two words that come to mind with this, QUICK AND EASY!!

My Advice

My advice is to try Ifixit if you feel comfortable doing the repair yourself. This was my first time ever using them and I am nothing but satisfied with them. I will be recommending and using them from now on.
