My Problem
home button wasn't consistently working- i tried everything i could find online for suggestions on cleaning out the button, etc. nothing worked so i know i needed a new button, but all the repair places i looked at were at least $60. for $20 i was able to switch it out myself and it works perfectly!
My Fix
took a long time for me to get all the little screws in and out- switching out the actual button was probably the easiest part of the whole thing!
My Advice
definitely make sure that you have the right size screwdriver for the interior screws. I tried to make due with what i had at home (so close, barely a size too big) and it took twice as long (and probably stripped the screw a bit too).
