My Problem
The charging port on my iPhone 5 was shorted.
My Fix
After looking at the repair guide for a while, I managed to open and fix the iPone for the first time in about an hour.
My Advice
Pay attention to how you remove the loudspeaker. That almost tripped me up while reinstalling.
