My Problem

Stepped on iPad while earbud was between glass and cover. So instead of earbud going into soft foot, the cover transferred my weight directly to earbud which transferred to a single spot on

My Fix

OK. I was successful and everything works afterwards. The panel isn't seated as flush as it was before on the bottom and top though.

My Advice

The guide doesn't provide any guidance on how to deal with cracked panel that goes all the way to the edges. I had more difficulty getting the panel to unseat from the glue because the guide's method benefits from a solid edge slowly prying the rest up. My edges were interrupted by cracks that made it more difficult, and I didn't know the best way to handle.
