MacBook Memory Upgrade - Success

My Problem

I bought a MacBook from some friends as my daughter wanted a Mac for college. This was a 2010 model and needed to have the memory upgraded to max at 4GB.

My Fix

I first ordered from "MemoryUp" which was a bad experience. The memory did not work in the laptop and had to return for refund.

I did a search and found IFIXIT and thought I'd try since it seemed to be an Apple focused company. The experience was good. No issues and the memory actually worked in the unit. I will definitely continue to use IFIXIT for any additional needed parts and/or videos on repairs.
