My Problem
I dropped my iphone 5 with no cosmetic damage to the screen, however I did damage the digitizer.
My Fix
I got the kit and screen replacement and watched the youtube video (several times). iFixit's replacement is easier because there are about two less steps than other brand replacements for this iphone 5. I did manage to strip one of the 00 philips screws so I have one loose screw which can easily be replaced when I get a replacement screw. Level of difficulty for me (because it was my first time) is medium. It look me much longer only because the stripped screw took a long time to work around. I am happy with my purchase!
My Advice
There are ways to work around a stripped 00 philips screw. Google "stripped 00 philips screw iphone" and there should be tips. Unfortunately, I found these videos after I finished reassembling my phone and for fear of messing up my wonderful repair I am waiting until I absolutely have to go back in and fix the screw.
