My Problem

I went to apple because my battery started draining quickly, and sometime shutting down out of no where. Apple ran test and told me I needed a battery replacement that would've costed me well over $200 because although I purchased the apple care + plan and never used it to replace a phone, I was out . . .

My Problem

The screen was broken from being dropped

My Fix

The repair, first time doing this one, took longer than expected, but went fine.

My Advice

The screen was purchased without the camera and IR sensor, etc. so those items had to be moved from the old screen to the new one. This added some time to the repair. If you have . . .

My Problem

The screen on my iPhone had been slowly cracking more and more with every fall.

My Fix

At first I had purchased only the glass screen for about $20 from another site, but I then realized it was way way to complicated (needed adhesive and a heat gun to remove the LCD digitizer). So I went back to iFix it and . . .

My Problem

Cracked Screen. Broke digitizer

My Fix

Disassembly was great. Reassembling was a little more difficult with the very small screws and the fact that everything is magnetic.

My Advice

Make sure you have the right tools, or else it will be more difficult.
