Replaced battery vs buying a new phone

My Fix

Removing the. stock battery was difficult because of the adhesive tape behind the stock battery, but once out, it was very simple to replace with the new battery.

My Advice

Purchase an additional tool not included in the kit that helps to pry up the old battery from the ad . . .

IPhone wouldn't hold charge.

My Fix

Repair went fairly easy except battery removal. Both glue straps snapped with minimum pulling. Was forced to heat battery with hair dryer. Took a while, but eventually the straps softened enough to pull battery. Reassembled iPhone 5C with no difficulty. All in all no . . .

Put phone on a cookie sheet in the oven with door open once you get to the battery adhesive removal step. It will loosen up the adhesive making it muc . . .
