My Problem

I got a used iPhone 4 for a really good price, but when I got it I found out that the camera was basically unusable because the back panel was heavily scratched, as was the camera lens, to a point where images were streaked with light. I obviously had to fix that situation, because iPhones deserve f . . .

My Problem

I had dropped my iPhone 4 several times and was lucky that it had never cracked, until the day that it slipped out of my pocket while I was riding a bike on vacation. The phone hit the ground right where the camera is and started a spider web of cracks on the back glass. When I returned home I star . . .

My Problem

My back and front panels were shattered badly. The front had gotten to a point where the phone was unusable. Glass started falling out and the screen had become unresponsive.

My Fix

Went great without a hitch! Some of those screws are extremely small but I kept everything organized through the entire proces . . .

My Problem

Shattered the back panel.

My Fix

I think it went decently well. The replacement panel wasn't a perfect fit and doesn't quite seal well, but it will do what i need it to do for the time being.

My Advice

Don't forget to peel off all the protectors.

My Problem

I'll blame the 2 yo. He dropped the phone and cracked the back.

My Fix

My Problem

I upgraded my iPhone experience level by buying a new iPhone for me, and I wanted to give to my dad my old iPhone 4, so he could feel Apple's iOS end user experience. But to give my old phone as a gift I had fix the old problems. That's why I bought a new home button, a rear glass and a brand new ba . . .

My Problem

Dead phone, Apple said they couldn't fix it. Water damage to the dock

My Fix

Fantastic... easy to follow instructions, tools worked well and I now have a cool see-through back on the phone!

My Advice

I used a magnifying light to see all the fiddly stuff (like making sure the screws were turning, not cross-threaded, e . . .

My Problem

Many times had I dropped my iPhone with extreme luck until that fastuous day when the impact with the floor made the rear glass panel crack in dozens of pieces.

Besides, for some reason the camera glass was blurry and couldn't take proper pictures anymore.

In addition, the home button wasn't worki . . .

Thing 4 has been the owner of a hand-me-down iPhone 4 for a couple of years while he waits for all of us to upgrade to the model being released in Fall 2014.

He is generally very careful with his electronics, but he ended up dropping his phone recently on asphalt and severely cracked the front sc . . .
