My Problem

Real Glass Panel on MY I Phone 4 (Verizon) was broken

My Fix

It was a little hard to remove the panel, looks like it was a little glue holding it to the other parts, after some time trying and trying finally was possible to removed. The placement of the new panel was really easy!!

Thanks!!

I am very Happy!! . . .

My Problem

Like a doofus, I dropped my iPhone on the pavement and the screen shattered. I had to use it for a week with clear packing tape on it, it was quite ghetto. I ordered the back panel plus the screen replacement kit from iFixit.

My Fix

The screen replacement was long but it worked. Took my about 90 minutes.

My Problem

Broken front LCD glass

My Fix

Repair went well. I moved the earpiece, camera, lcd shield, and sensor cable over from my broken screen onto the new one following the guides on the site. Everything went together pretty well, but because of a dent in the top right corner I had to take everything back apart and . . .

My Problem

I dropped my daughters iphone 4 which broke the back glass.

My Fix

Repair was easy. After removing the 2 specials screws with the screwdrivers supplied, I slid off the bad back panel (slides toward camera side of phone to remove) and then slid on new replacement. It's as easy as that.

My Advice

I am not a fan of phili . . .

My Problem

Replaced LCD screen on iPhone 4. The panel was shattered and the phone was disable.

My Fix

The repair went smooth, but the replacement display lacks the adhesive to form a tight fit. One of the 4 tabs on the new LCD replacement broke off very easy trying to fit the LCD into place.

My Advice

The instructions don't tell . . .

My Problem

Cracked glass is a pain - even on t he back. The kit had everything I needed. a fast, 10 minute fix by an 12 year old.

My Fix

My 12 year old daughter was so eager to fix it, she did it herself.

My Advice

Everything you need is in the kit. Easy as it gets!

My Problem

The phone was dropped and shattered the rear panel, but the screen and phone still worked fine. It looked awful covered with tape to hold the guts in.

My Fix

The repair was quick and easy. I like repairing things and was quite disappointed that it was over so quickly. (as are most fun things in life)

My Advice

My Problem

Tape just didn't cut it, because the back glass kept cutting me, even on the edges where tape couldn't reach.

My Fix

I followed along with a youtube video, and had absolutely no problem with the actual replacement or instructions except having to turn the phone off again when I accidentally turned it on whi . . .

My Problem

The back of my iPhone was badly beat up, and I finally decided to fix it, and I knew I could do it with the $20 repair kit from IFIXIT!

My Fix

The repair went supersmooth, less than 5 minutes!

My Advice

Everything is very easy and straightforward. Just be careful with the screws, they are tiny and delicate!

My Problem

Well I went to get into my car the other day and didn't have my case on my phone. My almost one year old son likes to chew on the case so I let him have it earlier that day. So when I was trying to get in the car I put my phone on the roof, well it slid right off and hit the ground. Cracked the bott . . .
