My Problem

My iPad had the ghost touching problem, where it just started freaking out and opening apps without being touched. My research pointed to a digitizer problem. I also had a small cracked screen area.

My Fix

I had mixed results. Eventually I fixed it. Getting the original screen off with all that adhesive wa . . .

My Problem

There was a hairline crack across the digitizer.

My Fix

This was my first iPad repair. The adhesive holding the front glass/digitizer is stronger than I anticipated. I was not doing something right with the iOpener as it never seemed to warm up the adhesive enough to release. I eventually shattered the f . . .

My Problem

My 3 year old dropped my iPad on a tile floor and shattered the display.

My Fix

The actual repair took about 15-20 mins. The longest part of the repair was just getting the shattered glass off. I tried the iRepair bag, but that was taking forever. I used a blow dryer and that sped things up considerably.

My Problem

Screen was shattered due to 2 year old interference

My Fix

Removal was awful. Had to get out an exacto knife and intentionally break the entire screen down to rice grain sized pieces. Glass everywhere. No fault of the replacement kit, but the screen removal steps were of minimal use

The entire screen was completely crushed

My Fix

Slowly because glass shards. But successful

My Advice

Can't use regular tape, need postage tape to put on broken screen. Other tape won't allow the suction cup to grip. I couldn't get the home button to work so I went to assess ability in the iPad settings and put a virt . . .

My Problem

The LCD was causing the iPad to press things by itself. Really annoying. I changed both the LCD and digitizer.

My Fix

Smooth as planned, but lost screws for the shield for all the connectors. Do you guys sell screws?

My Advice

This is an easy repair with an iPad because you have so much room to work with versus repair . . .

Glass was cracked

My Fix

It went great. I took and extra long time since this was my first time replacing the front panel. It was a little intimidating but I followed the directions on your site with everything going well. I won't have any issues repairing another. Your directions are awesome. Please add t . . .

Shattered front panel on iPad air

My Fix

Successful!! It was a challenge to remove the front panel because it was so shattered, but once it was removed the rest of the repair was quick and easy.

My Advice

The suction did not work for me b/c the glass was so shattered. Completely taped front panel to prevent shards o . . .

Shattered Display

My Fix

Slow

My Advice

You really want to take your time doing this, do not rush. The glass is likely to crack more when you are trying to separate it from the glue. If the glass shatters around the edges, don't worry about trying to get it all off at once. Continue separating the glass, and come b . . .
