Take your repair to the next level! This soldering iron opens the door to a multitude of DIY repairs, from replacing individual components on circuit boards to joining loose wires together. The possibilities are endless.

We recommend purchasing solder, heat shrink tubing, and desoldering braid as they are not included with the soldering station. Better than a wet sponge, our soldering tip cleaning ball quickly cleans the tip without leaving residue. We also carry replacement tips.

This product is also available as part of the Soldering Workstation.

My Problem

After charging overnight my battery would go to red line in a few hours.

My Fix

The repair went very smoothly. The hardest part was getting the ipod apart. The 7 Philips screws were difficult. Of the 7, 5 came out ok, but 2 had head damaged by the time I was done.... but there was enough left to reassemb . . .
