Connection on headphone jack deteriorated over time until I could only hear a whisper of audio.

Went well. Ordered the parts I needed and since it was my first time doing anything of this nature, took it slow and had no problems.

My Problem

The tip of my old headphones broke in the jack and I tried getting them out after watching YouTube videos that showed how to using super glue and q-tip. I accidentally glued the piece in forcing me to replace the part if I ever wanted to listen to music again.

My Problem

My Problem

My son's iPod Touch 4th gen. headphones jack didn't work.

My Fix

Everything went (almost) smoothly, a bit nervous at the beginning (both my son and I) but I could relax enough to enjoy the challenge.

My Advice

Be carefull on step 6 when you try to remove the copper cover. It is hold by a tiny piece of plastic snapped . . .

My Problem

My ipod G4 screen was cracked and falling out; the headphones only worked from one ear bud; home button did not work; and the battery died in 5 minutes.

Slow and steady allowed everything to come apart and reassemble as the guides described.
