I went through the guide from iFixit and repaired it by myself.
It was good and my machine is working fine.
All drives have been erased and do not have OS X installed.
Apple Part numbers are specific to solid-state drive capacity, refer to products options for details.

The MacBook Air came with a 120 GB SSD, which was not nearly enough storage for our use.
The upgrade to a 500 GB SSD was stress free after buying the screwdrivers that were needed from iFixit. And the instructions on the iFixit Web site were great. It made things very uncomplicated, and fast.
