  • 5.0 inch Super AMOLED (1080×1920) display.
  • The display assembly includes the LCD, digitizer and frame. You may need to transfer some components from your original display. Used assemblies may be missing one or more of the elastic grommets shown in the new assemblies.

NOTE: This part will not work with any 720T (Triband) model. There is a slight difference in cable length for one of the flex cables. Unfortunately, we do not carry a part compatible with the 720T at this time.

My Problem

I was tossed out of a vehicle by accident while off-roading and landed on my phone. I completely destroyed my screen, LCD, and digitizer. The phone would still ring and vibrate but was useless otherwise. I only had it for a little over a week when this happened and I was devastated.

My Fix

My first attempt to fix my screen was to replace only the glass. But in the process of removing the glass I perminetly damaged the LCD and I was forced to replace the full front assembly. This process was very straight forward and went off without a hitch. I did end up with one missin . . .

Broke the glass all the wall through to the screen.

My Fix

Needed to buy a full housing. It went well there were no issues other than needing a dryer to heat up the vibration piece to unstick. and trying not to break the phone when taking the front screen off.

My Advice

Use a dryer to heat up any glued areas! I put th . . .

My niece dropped my mom's Galaxy S4, and the digitizer cracked. I opted to replace the entire front element for my mom with the part that IFIXIT sells.

I have done repairs in the past and this was the easiest. I did the screen replacement, obviously.

My Advice

Get the quick shipping. Your phone is almost essential these days. I also switched colors! Kinda cool :)
