My Problem

My WIFI stopped working on my Macbook Pro 15" Early 2011.

Actually it lost connection within 5 - 30 minutes and the WIFI-Symbol turned to "No Hardware installed"

After trying

- NVRAM/PRAM reset

- restart in safe boot mode

- full reinstallation of my system

My Fix

It was quick and easy with the fixit instructions. I had been resigned to having to buy a new mac. This give me another year or so!

fixit repair kit plus parts= a happy MacBook Pro!

It started with intermittent WiFi drops and finally caused total disappearance of WiFi module. Replacing the Airport/Bluetooth cable healed the problem at once.
