My Problem

Battery performance was reduced. My MAC was barely making it 3 hours.

My Fix

Repair was fun, except for 2 things: The guide mentions screws to be removed from the battery frame: I found they are plastic plugs instead and it was easy to remove them, but not possible to put them back. I hope they are not stuc . . .

My Problem

I spilled water on my Macbook Pro a couple of months ago, it shut off immediately but shortly after I dried it off I noticed that I could still use it only if it was on the charger. I took my laptop to the Apple store where I waited for hours just for them to tell me that the whole hard-drive needed . . .

My Problem

The battery had stopped holding a charge.

My Fix

Everything went like clockwork except peeling the battery off. It just took a long time. The iopener really didnt seem to help.

My Advice

Just follow the instructions. Except the one part that tells you to remove the four screws holding the battery in - on some mod . . .

The repair was completed successfully, but it was very difficult to separate the battery from the case of the laptop due to the extremely strong glue used by Apple to secure the bat . . .
