My computer would randomly shut off when I was working off the battery, even when my meter said I had 75% battery left. I ordered a replacement battery - but I ordered the wrong size. I contacted ifixit via email - they responded very quickly - I sent back the wrong sized batter & ordered the corr . . .

Some things to watch out for. When removing the original battery the power cable may not flex enough to clear the connection housing on the logic board. No worries, just release it with a slight pull then remove the 5 screws holding the battery asse . . .

after first swapping the battery the rpsvchost process was jacked. tried a pram and it seemed to clear the problem but . . .
