Dropped the phone and the screen cracked
The repair went pretty well. I bought the screen and digitizer assembly from iFixit because it included the frame so I didn't have to remove the glass itself. I used the repair guide listed underneath the assembly listing. It was very good however I needed to remove and transfer a few extra things because I was replacing the whole digitizer assembly. The repair guide assumed reusing the digitizer assembly and only replacing the glass screen. Not a biggy though. I did have a slight snag though when moving the front camera to the new assembly. The new assembly did not have the adhesive for the camera so I had to remove the one from the old assembly. That was quite delicate and difficult to take out and move over. Wound up having a small crease in it. Still works though.
I was pleasantly surprised to a note and a prepaid return shipping label to send the old broken screen back to recycle it. My kudos to iFixit for being so conscientious like this.

Screen went in fine, but I didn't have a heat gun so the camera didn't come out well and I had to order a new one and put that one in as well
If you're doing this repair, make sure to take a lot of care with the back camera, it's really hard to get out without a heat gun and you will probably break something if you don't use one. Also the flashlight ability doesn't work without the camera so beware that as well.

The repair is fine if you're patient and follow the steps closely. Don't force anything.
When transferring components to the new screen assembly, don't forget any of the small bits. I was halfway through reassembly when I noticed that I missed some tiny gaskets for the ambient light sensor (near the ear speaker). The ambient light sensor does not properly work without these, and you essentially get "trapped" in calls because the screen won't reactivate.

Repair went very smooth all things considered.
Along with the vibrator motor, the headphone jack, notification LED, cameras, and volume/power buttons, double check that all the gaskets are moved over to the new frame. Two or three of them are grey and easy to spot, another for the proximity and ambient light sensor is black and won't jump out at you - it also has a black adhesive pad on top of it making it more difficult to pull out of the frame. Definitely use a flat head screw driver to pop the rear camera off - going under the ribbon is very difficult. There's a small opening on the bottom (battery side) of the camera housing. Just slide the small bit in there and pop it off the adhesive.
