Step 8
Ear cup grilles away! Each one has a single microphone stowaway, here to hear what the wearer is listening to, probably to then report back to the H1 chip for EQ adjustments. Or go directly to Tim Cook's earpiece. Each 40 mm driver is held down by a few screws, one of them a gigantic standoff. We're momentarily stumped, and reach for our kitted-out Mahi driver kit. A torq-set #6 bit is ... not a perfect fit, but gets the job done. Each 40 mm driver is held down by a few screws, one of them a gigantic standoff.
