If you are trying to replace the display, I advise to test the display before mounting it. Plug the display connector to the lower logic board and then connect the battery connector. Now try if the new LCD and touch screen are working fine.

Unplug the front camera connector and put it aside.
Remove the 4 screws that hold the logic board.
Use a hair dryer to warm up the glue that holds the front speaker and remove it.
Remove the screws that hold the speaker and the cover of the lower logic board in place.
Unhook the lower logic board and remove it.
