Introduction
The front caster wheel of the Roomba gets dirty because it runs over all of the dirt, and debris it picks up. This guide will show you how to take the wheel out and clean it.

Flip the device over onto its back

Find the side brush, and unscrew the single screw that connects to brush motor by using the Phillips head #2 screwdriver

Locate and Remove the four screws on the back panel by using Phillips #1

Once the screws are loose gently pry the back plate away from the body by using the spudger tool.

With the robot upside down, hold the caster wheel housing steady.

Insert the plastic spudger under the wheel housing. Apply force to pry the wheel straight up.

Remove the wheel housing from the robot.

Hold the wheel housing firmly in one hand.

With the other hand, push the wheel up and pop it out of its slotted housing.

Clean the wheel with soap and water.
