This guide consists of instructions on how to disassemble IPhone 4S.

Remove the Bottom Pentalobe Screws next to the charger connecter.

Push the back panel towards the top edges of the IPhone. Doing this should allow the back to slide off. Do NOT apply so much pressure. Especially if your IPhone is cracked.

Remove these two screws that are securing the battery connecter to the Logic Board.

  • Remember to focus and pay attention. So you don't accidentally slip and pierce the Battery!

  • For the bottom screw, it is recommended that you use a 1.5 mm Screwdriver, and a 1.7 mm for the top screw.

Locate and pull the Plastic tab to pull out battery. Make sure to pry up outsides of battery on other sides as well.
