To replace a faulty or a cracked screen, follow these directions.

Step 1 Screen  ¶ 

Locate and remove the  four (4) pads using Angled Tweezers Locate and remove the  four (4) pads using Angled Tweezers

  • Locate and remove the four (4) pads using Angled Tweezers

Step 2  ¶ 

Remove the four screws that were under the pads Remove the four screws that were under the pads

  • Remove the four screws that were under the pads

Step 3  ¶ 

Carefully pull the bevel (frame) off of the screen Carefully pull the bevel (frame) off of the screen Carefully pull the bevel (frame) off of the screen

  • Carefully pull the bevel (frame) off of the screen

Step 4  ¶ 

Locate the four screws that are holding the screen in place Remove the screws Remove the screws

  • Locate the four screws that are holding the screen in place

  • Remove the screws

Step 5  ¶ 

Pull the screen out gently Lay the screen down on the keyboard

  • Pull the screen out gently

  • Lay the screen down on the keyboard

Step 6  ¶ 

Locate the connector between the screen and the computer Remove any tape

Step 6  ¶ 

  • Locate the connector between the screen and the computer

  • Remove any tape

Step 7  ¶ 

Gently pull the connector off of the screen

Step 7  ¶ 

  • Gently pull the connector off of the screen

  • The screen can now be replaced with a new one
