Parrot Bebop Drone Propeller Replacement

This guide will teach you how to properly remove and replace the propellers on the Parrot Bebop Drone.

The propellers are one of the most important elements of the drone when it comes to flight. Without proper placement, the drone will not be able to fly properly. This guide will teach you how and where to place the propellers.

Step 1 Propeller  ¶ 

Using the propeller removal tool (included with the Parrot Bebop Drone), line up the holes with the protruding screws. Step 2  ¶ 

While holding the propeller in place, rotate the tool counterclockwise until the screws are aligned with the holes on the propeller. While holding the propeller in place, rotate the tool counterclockwise until the screws are aligned with the holes on the propeller.

While gently pushing down on the arm of which the propeller is attached, pull the propeller up off the motor.

Step 4  ¶ 

When putting the propellers back on, the red propellers go up front and the black ones go on the back. The motors with the protruding axles (front right and rear left) have the propeller with the hole in the middle while the motors without the protruding axles (front left and rear right) have the propellers without the hole in the middle. The motors with the protruding axles (front right and rear left) have the propeller with the hole in the middle while the motors without the protruding axles (front left and rear right) have the propellers without the hole in the middle.

Step 4  ¶ 

  • When putting the propellers back on, the red propellers go up front and the black ones go on the back.

  • The motors with the protruding axles (front right and rear left) have the propeller with the hole in the middle while the motors without the protruding axles (front left and rear right) have the propellers without the hole in the middle.
