Asus ROG G751JL-BB17T29 Monitor Replacement

If your monitor is damaged, defective, or inoperable then you may need to replace it.

This guide will attempt to show the user how to properly remove and replace the monitor without damaging it or any intermediary components.

Carefully disconnect the pin connector indicated in the photo.

Step 2  ¶ 

Remove the four 6.8 mm screws holding the monitor in place, using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the four 6.8 mm screws holding the monitor in place, using a Phillips screwdriver.

  • Remove the four 6.8 mm screws holding the monitor in place, using a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3  ¶ 

Lift away the metal housings from the laptop to uncover two additional screws on each side of the laptop. Lift away the metal housings from the laptop to uncover two additional screws on each side of the laptop.

  • Lift away the metal housings from the laptop to uncover two additional screws on each side of the laptop.

Step 4  ¶ 

Remove the final four 6.8 mm remaining screws using a Phillips screwdriver. The monitor is now free and can be lifted away from the laptop. The monitor is now free and can be lifted away from the laptop.
