HP eStation Zeen Volume Buttons Replacement

Use this guide to replace the HP eStation Zeen's volume buttons.

This guide demonstrates how to remove and replace the volume buttons of an HP eStation Zeen in order to preserve the function of the device.

Step 1 Volume Buttons  ¶ 

Use a metal spudger to remove the four screw caps. Remove the four 6 mm screws using a Philips #0 screwdriver. Remove the four 6 mm screws using a Philips #0 screwdriver.

  • Remove the four 6 mm screws using a Philips #0 screwdriver.

Step 2  ¶ 

Insert a plastic opening tool and slide it along the edge to open the back panel. Lift the back panel away from the device. Lift the back panel away from the device.

Disconnect the battery clip with a plastic opening tool.

  • Be gentle as the connector is fragile.

Step 4  ¶ 

Remove the two 6 mm screws using a Philips #0 screwdriver.

Pull the ribbon from the board.

  • Pull the ribbon from the board.

  • Be gentle as the ribbon is fragile.
