Editing Step 1 —

Disconnect the interconnect cable

Notice: You are editing a prerequisite guide. Any changes you make will affect all 9 guides that include this step.

Step Type:

Drag to rearrange

Use a spudger to flip up the small white locking flap on the left button board interconnect cable ZIF connector.
The pull tab on this connector may be labeled C‑L.
Use tweezers or your fingers to grip the cable's pull tab and slide it straight out of its socket to disconnect it.
