Razer Blade 15" (2018) Heatsink Replacement

Editing Step 4 —
Remove the heatsink

Step Type:

Drag to rearrange

Lift the right edge of the heatsink from the motherboard.

Slide the heatsink to the right so the left screw tab slides out from under the screen cable.

Remove the heatsink.

During reassembly:

Inspect the thermal pads for damage. Apply new pads if any tear or deform too much.

Follow this guide to clean and reapply thermal paste to the CPU and GPU.
