Soften the adhesive

Step Type:

Apply a heated iOpener to the bottom edge of the rear cover for three minutes.

Alternatively, you can use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate to warm the rear cover.

Only heat the phone enough so it's just hot to the touch. Extreme heat can damage the screen, rear cover, or battery.
