[* black] As the plates move, they produce a change in capacitance on the sensing capacitive plates.
[* black] Feedback from the sensing capacitive plates attached to the oscillating plates within the gyroscope is fed to an [link||ASIC] that multiplies the raw feedback signal by the sensitivty, or gain, of the unit, which is the ratio of output to input of the sensor.
