[* black] Feedback from capacitors attached to the oscillating plates within the gyroscope is fed to an [link||ASIC] that multiplies raw data by the sensitivty, or gain, of the unit, which is the ratio of output to input of the sensor.
[* black] The sensitivity of MEMS devices is usually in mV/dps (or degrees per second), so the output of the unit (in mV) divided by the sensitivity (mV/dps) provides the angular rate applied to the package in degrees per second.
