[* black] The folks at Oculus VR have had a busy year. Their hard work culminates into one amazing piece of hardware, the Oculus Rift Development Kit 2. Features include:
[* red] Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer with update rate of 1000 Hz
[* orange] Positional tracking via external camera with Near Infrared CMOS Sensor
[* yellow] Low Persistence 5.7" OLED Displaydisplay with a resolution of 960 x 1080 per eye

[* black] All well and good, but DK1 ran away with an impressive [guide|13682|9/10 repairability score|stepid=46010] when it hit our teardown table in the Spring of 2013. Here's hoping that score holds as the Rift evolves from developer prototype to consumer product. Let's see what's what!
