[title] Reused Components
[* black] There are 3 components you need to remove from your old Lightning Connector assembly and transfer to the new one.
[* black] The first is a thin strip that goes along the left and top side of the headphone jack.
[* black] The bracket in the middle holds the connector into which the Touch ID cable plugs. The connector is held into this bracket with a mild adhesive. You will not have any adhesive to attach your new connector, but when you reconnect the Touch ID cable cover it will hold everything in place. This bracket is what the cable cover snaps onto.
[* black] Finally, the rubber microphone cover must be slipped over the microphone. Take care to orient it the same way so it can seal against the bottom of the case.
