[* black] In the iOpener vs iPad Mini teardown staredown, the Mini blinks first: after offering up the usual gluey resistance, it lets go of the cover glass.
[* icon_note] We're getting used to the ridiculous amount of glue holding iPads together—but that doesn't make it okay. We'll say it again: glue inhibits repair, and that is bad. Really bad.
-[* black] The new display may look like magic, but thankfully it is still secured with thoroughly non-magical mechanical screws. With the aid of the [product|IF145-239|Pro Tech Screwdriver Set], we dispatch them posthaste.
