[* black] Reaching back into the almost empty case, we fish out the sync button, shaped slightly [guide|75578|differently from themodified [guide|75578|(compared to last version|stepid=152779|new_window=true], and nowtime)|stepid=152779|new_window=true] sync button—now with two solder points where twofor the ends of the charging coil were connected.
[* black] Flipping it over we find two extra contacts underneath, probably having to do with the
wireless charging coil.
[* black] Last but not leastAh yes, the thing we came all this way for—the new wireless charging coil, and a thermal pad to keep it cool under pressure.
[* black] Despite our best efforts, neither one comes out intact.
[* icon_note] This updated case seems designed for increased ''durability'', if not ''repairability''. That beefier hinge and water-repellent coating on the board probably makes for fewer failures—hopefully ''way'' fewer, because the rest of this thing is still a hot mess to service.
