[* black] Find fabric either from the dress or similar to the dresses fabric and cut a feasible amount to use as a patch. a. The patch needs to be ½ to ¾ inch larger than the hole you are repairing. It's best to find a section in the dress that you can take fabric from without it being noticeable. If that's not possible use fabric that is close.
